Terms of Service — Hauptsoft
These terms govern use of the Hauptsoft websites, the HS-serwis customer portal, and related services while the product is in closed beta / pre-launch.
1. Who we are
Hauptsoft is an early-stage project founded by Volodymyr Kostromin and Dmytro Mazur, operating from Wrocław, Poland. Contact: support@hauptsoft.com.
HS-serwis is offline-first desktop software for electronics / GSM repair shops. A one-time license is planned; public pricing is not set. The portal exists so testers can create an account, confirm email, reset a password, and optionally use cloud backup or a public repair-status page.
2. Beta status
The websites and portal are provided as-is for development, validation, and invited testers. Features may change. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that beta software is ready for production workshop use.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
- Provide an email address you control when you register or join the waitlist.
- Do not create accounts or trigger email (verification, reset) for other people without their permission, and do not use bots to flood registration.
- Do not attempt to break authentication, scrape personal data, or abuse the mail system.
4. Email
We send transactional mail only (account verification, password reset, security notices) and optional pilot messages to people who opted in. We do not send bulk marketing campaigns or use purchased lists. Details: Privacy Policy.
5. Desktop data
Repair and customer records you enter in the desktop app stay on your computer unless you enable an optional feature (encrypted cloud backup or public status lookup). You remain responsible for backups of the local database and for compliance with law for data of your workshop customers.
6. Intellectual property
Hauptsoft, HS-serwis, and the site content are owned by the founding team unless marked otherwise. You may not copy the product for resale. A paid EULA will apply to purchased licenses; these beta terms do not replace that licence.
7. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties. We are not liable for lost profits, lost workshop data (including where you did not keep local backups), or indirect damage arising from beta use. Mandatory consumer rights, if any apply, are not excluded.
8. Contact and complaints
Support hours (desktop product): 18:00–22:00 CET. Legal, privacy, and abuse reports: the same inbox, with a clear subject line.
